一、八极拳概说BriefIntroduofBajiQuan

八极拳全称为“开门八极拳”或称“岳山八极拳”。“开门”意为六种开法（六大开）作为技法核心，破开对方门户（防守架子）。“八极”，意为出劲可达到四面八方极远的地方。称“岳山”者，相传八极源自河南焦作岳山寺，故名冠“岳山”。
